Advanced Tactile Array (ATA) Belt

The ATA Dual Belt System provides an array of 8 EMR and 8 C-series (or PiezoTac) tactors and integrated controllers that are mounted on a stretchable, torso worn belt. A USB (or optional Bluetooth) connection allows the Dual Tactor Belt to be controlled by a smart-phone (running the TDK software) or tablet / PC running Windows or Linux. EAI’s ATAC Dual Belt represents a state-of-the-art, wearable vibrotactile array, suitable for a wide variety of military, biomedical, research and commercial applications. Direct applications of the Dual Belt include navigation (NAVCOM) and spatial disorientation countermeasures (eTSAS).
